Slight change to a Shao'Kehn Aspect.

Slight change to one of the newly revealed Shao'Kehn Aspects, Shao'Driiah - AKA The Dark Maiden. Instead of a laurel of intestines, She now has a laurel of voong flowers. Voong flowers are a kind of planimal (plants that can move like animals) flower that shoot poison darts. Beautiful but deadly.

I find how aspected your Godess is fascinating. Also I love the flowers-- what do they look like?

Heh. Yeah. Sixteen known Aspects out of "an infinite number" of possibilities. But I suspect the majority of those "infinite" Aspects are actually incarnations of Shao'Mort. Shao'Mort being the Aspect of Shao'Kehn that incarnates as a mortal. (I am an incarnation of Shao'Mort myself.)

As to voong flowers... picture morning glories, only with petals that flare more forward than out, with flowers that can track the movements of warm-blooded creatures. The original voong flower used its poison darts to kill birds and other small warm-blooded animals for its food or for defense, and later "breeds" do the same, but also do things like shoot people with a cure for a disease called the brain fungus. Before there was a cure, domestic voong plants just killed anyone who had the brain fungus (which they could sense by sniffing the spores) to stop the spread of the disease. One has to be careful when in the wilderness, there's no telling which breed of voong is wild out there, and it's best to avoid any voong flowers you aren't sure about anyway, as they might kill you in self defense anyway.
