Doctor Phil crosses the line.

Regardless of whether this kid was guilty or not, Doctor Phil went insanely overboard on this one. I'm glad I don't watch that show.

If the kid was forced into it by his parents, or if that was way more than what he was told that he could expect then I totally agree that this crossed the line.

I wouldn't trust some confessions and testimonies given to Doc Phil though. There are many weak-willed people out there whom wouldn't respond well to Dr. Phil's style and would probably give-in just to get him off their back.

Yeah, Dr. Phil's style isn't for everyone.

Indeed. It's Dr. Phil's kind of attitude - lashing out at things that offend one - that have eroded our society into a terrified horde of lemmings.

By the way, lemmings don't commit suicide, mass or otherwise. Back in the 50s, unscrupulous nature photographers/filmers forced lemmings to run off cliffs, pretending it was something they did naturally... all for ratings.

Humans. About 98% of the time I feel ashamed to be one.
