Ralph Nader is a racist prick

I can't believe I ever considered voting for this guy. Nothing he says in this video makes any sense. And oh, I got so pissed at him saying "Will Obama be Uncle Sam or Uncle Tom?" And then defending it!

I especially like the comments at the end by the guy interviewing him. "He was always angry about not getting enough time. Well there's his time."

Really, bastard. No one is going to vote for you now. Like you ever had a chance to begin with. And seriously, what is this guy's damage. He's a fucking dogmatic idiot. I'm thinking I'd rather have Bush as President than Ralph Nader.

I've known he was an asshole for a very long time.

Perhaps you recall a few years back when it came out that airbags were injuring some people?

And Nader was leading the charge crying about how dare the car companies install something that dangerous without sufficient testing?

Well, *I* recall almost 40 years back when Nader was one of the people leading the charge to *force* car companies to install airbags in cars and calling their protests that more testing was needed "foot dragging"

Funny how he failed to mention that.

He's one of many who champion forcing thru solutions without actually checking to see if there's a downside. And who never *ever* take responsibility for any bad consequences.

That guy just needs to go away already. He's delusional if he ever thought he had a chance at the presidency. What a joik.

I don't understand why people would throw away their votes on someone like Nader. Why vote for someone who doesn't stand a chance anyway? I wound up voting for Obama after all, despite my anger about him voting for FISA and the bailout, but my second choice if he had been viable would have been Ron Paul.

Somehow, though, we have to find a way to break the stranglehold that both the Democratic and Republican parties maintain. A two-party system was the nightmare of the Founders. Maybe, with the Rethugs still reeling from their decisive defeat, this might be the time to drive a few wedges into the party base for use in shattering them?

I'm thinking the Libertarian party will become stronger as the Repugnicans grow more corrupt and vile. If the Libertarians could find a strong Presidential candidate, they may have a viable chance.

I just found out from Mom that Dad usually votes for Nader, but voted Obama this year. I told her what I learned about Nader here today.

Good, maybe helping to get that out will keep Nader from being a vote leech in future races like he was on Gore and Kerry.

Bleh, I can't believe I actually voted for him, way back in 2000 (I live in a very blue state! I thought it would be ok!).

I'm thinking I'd rather have Bush as President than Ralph Nader.

You'd rather a violent warmongering torturing cocaine-abusing economy-destroying climate-change-denying dumb-as-pigshit alcoholic?

He's not racist, though. So that's okay.

It was a joke, obviously. Because I'd seriously rather have a poisonous squid as President than Bush.

Exactly my point! They'd make excellent Presidents.

In fact, I understand a few are Congressmen.

'Uncle Tom' is a term with racial connotations because it referred to a black man who was over-the-top in their devotion to his Great White Masters. Not racist, it in fact demonizes the affects of racism; on a person who is easily brainwashed by those in authority. Of course, now it refers even less to black/white relations than it ever did.

Honest to god, people are so god damned sensitive. It's extremely clear that Nader doesn't hate Obama for being black. Those Red Army fanatics who worshiped the state? They were Uncle Toms. I don't think Obama is an Uncle Tom in the least, but I also don't think it's racist.

Nader doesn't need to choose his words more carefully for reasons of public relations because he'll never, ever achieve his goals. Unless, of course, the ride turns against Obama and Republicans to an extreme in which his radical honesty would be appreciated.

The fact that 'Uncle Tom' is the most tame, and positive, of words with racial connotations only makes fanatic blacktivists and irrational, perverted White Guilt perpetrators more idiotic for freaking out.

Nigger = A word that racists consistently use to insult black people
Uncle Tom = insult to weak-willed shillers to authority

Huge difference. Monumental difference. Revolutionary difference, because many white people despised Uncle Toms too eventually. These white people actually desired to have some measure of respect for a man, whatever his skin shade.

Radical honesty? The man forced companies to install airbags in all cars, and when it came out that airbags were harming or even killing people, he demanded to know why such a dangerous thing had been put in cars, as though he'd had nothing to do with it. He's no better than any other politician, and worse than some.

But Lilla told me the same thing about Uncle Tom the other day, so I concede that particular point.
