Dreams when sick

When I'm sick, my dreams tend to be the same exact dream all night long. The other night I caught Tara's diarrhea/flu and that night's first dream was that my brain was being used to process data for a teleportation device. It was NOT fun... I was concentrating hard, thinking the little bits of data from one part of my field of vision to another. It was HELL! From 9 PM to midnight, that's all I dreamt, over and over and over again. And the reason I was dreaming this? I had just finished watching The Fly on TBS, and fell asleep to thoughts of how teleportation would be possible.

So, when I awoke for a restroom break at midnight, I was thinking, "Gods! I do NOT want to be dreaming that all night long!" So I concentrated on clearing my mind before falling asleep, being lulled into a silent mind by the ticking of the clock. And it worked! I dreampt *another* dream all night long, and this time it was a passive dream... I was just watching some woman doing the same thing all night long. Boring as hell, but I'd take boring to exhausting any day!

Then last night it was something about little gnome-people building a city of metal and glass, and earthquakes kept distrupting their work. And something funny... the city they were building just happened to be my legs and my blankets, and the earthquakes happened when I moved. It went on like this all night long... or at least until the neck-aches started waking me up so frequently that dreams were seldom possible anymore. For, you see, I went to bed last night at about 3 PM and didn't get up until 8 this morning. NOT a good idea.

Something hilarious: http://mckayness.com/~mal-2/m/Mal-2_-_The_Minerva_Project_-_11_-_dxm_theme_song.mp3

Chaotic Blessings;
