Jason Stryker

My Google-fu is failing me. I'm trying to get pictures of Jason Stryker from X-Men II. Not the actor, the character. And more than Jason, I'm interested in pictures of his little-girl persona from the illusion he was feeding Charles Xavier. But my Google searches show only 2 pictures of that character, and none of his little girl altar ego. Help?

I had a quick search and nadaed, sorry. You might have to screencap it yourself. Will your computer read DVDs?

That won't help get pictures of the *character* (ie from the *comics*, not any movies)

My leet reading comprehension skillz decode this post as almost certainly referring to the actors-in-character, not the comic book characters. If that's not the case, it's a writing fail, not a reading fail.

It's pictures of the character from the movie I want, actually. Silly goose. :-)

Have to see if vidcap works on my system. A lot of DVD playing programs are set up so that if you try to do a screen cap, you get a black box where the video is playing.

If I try printscreen on mine, it won't do it, but my DVD player has a "screencap" button on it, which does the same thing.

Only thing I can think of is either try one of the comic communities here on LJ, or else go to a comic shop and find a cheap enough issue that has a good pic of the character, buy it and scan it.

The Actress's name is Keely Purvis. She's not done a lot, but you can find out about here here:

*strikes a pose* My Google-Fu is supreme!

I once heard that "the best things age with time." This was the caption to a picture in Playboy, I think, where on one side was this awkward looking high school girl on one side, and the "same" girl on the other, years later, a total "hottie" (by Playboy's standards*).

I have a different opinion. I think age can sometimes improve someone's appearance, and other times it has no effect or is detrimental to their appearance. I've seen many celebrities who I thought were cute as children but grew up and became, in my opinion, ugly.

I bring this up because while this girl is pretty in the bottom images, she looks so radically different that it's hard to believe it's the same person. Now I knew the eyes in X-Men II were probably computer altered, so that wasn't it. It's the totality, the changes puberty did to her. I'd say she's not better looking or worse looking, just... different. I would not have predicted her to look like that now, however old she is now.

* I was never very interested in Playboy. I preferred Hustler, because it sometimes had lesbians in it and was more hard core. But I grew tired of them both
