I had a bit of a weird idea. I was eating at a Thai place the other day, using chopsticks, and lamenting on how pants they are at dealing with rice, so that it's easiest to just use the chopsticks to shovel the rice into your mouth with the lip of the bowl to your face.

Then I looked at some bamboo, and thought, "What if I took a piece of dried bamboo, split it lengthwise down the middle, and used the two halves like chopsticks? The two sides cup a bit, so it'd be like the spoon or spork version of chopsticks, making rice easy to pick up."

I may have just revolutionized the Asian cuisine industry. I'm gonna try it. If it works, any ideas on how to get this idea popularized?
