Universal reproduction

I view universes as living things, like macroscopic single celled organisms. There's universes that split off from our own timeline to make new universes that cluster together, there's universes that are like other species with no ancestry in common that cluster up together in a different clump, and these universes live, breed, and die. I think the clusters can be thought of like multi-cellular organisms or colonies of related single celled organisms, and when one cluster dies it might give birth to a whole new cluster via a Big Crunch and a new Big Bang. Or maybe "life" on the universe scale works differently, and when the cluster dies it leaves behind materials that self-organize back into a new universe cluster. Oooh! Or the energy/matter falling into black holes becomes new universes, similar to how multi-cellular lifeforms lay eggs! Except that in this case, the "egg" universes may or may not have anything in common, laws-of-physics-wise, with their universe of origin.
