Sleep study

As I type this, I am at Mariott Residence Inn for an OHSU sleep study which should tell me if I have sleep apnea or not. I am literally all wired up, feeling like a cyborg, and hope to be going to bed soon. (Obviously, there is free wifi.) Little odd in that I actually got up at noon today.

I *was* trying to find an easy way home before church tomorrow to drop my stuff off, but checkout is at 7 and the best route has me catching a bus at 7:30 and walking a god-awful distance because the 71 doesn't start running until 8-ish. I dunno, maybe I could make it home, drop the stuff off, and get back downtown for the services at the Unitarian Universalist church, but I don't want to be that rushed. I'll manage carrying my crap around with me.

Now I just have to figure out what to do with myself from 7 AM until 9:30 AM for services at 10am (it only takes 15 to 20 minutes to get to the UU church from here) Checkout may be 7 am, but maybe they'll let me hang around in the lobby for a couple hours. I think I'll ask the sleep technician lady.

While I'm here, I might as well say something I forgot to mention last time. The theme of last week's services was Islam and Ramadan. I was a little off-put, in the sermon, to hear that Muhomad (sp?) was upset at his neighbors for idolotry, but the rest of the sermon was nice. I like how one of the 5 pillars of Islam is charity. Islam has some beautiful stuff in it, too. Still, so does Christianity. Neither are for me.
