Little Girl in rain By lj user never_end

We're IN The Future RIGHT NOW!!!

On a previous post about cloaks, tbuitenh said: "The best color for a cloak is invisibility."

And I said: "Indeed, but those haven't been perfected yet.

Gods, there was a time when that would have been a joke."

Because they ARE working on invisibility cloaks, and are making progress! You can actually see through these things already, though you can also tell there's something doing it because it's all green-tinted. Give it 10 years and they'll be selling fully functional invisibility suits to the military.

Writer's Block: When I grow up

Do you think your parents made any major mistakes in how they raised you? If so, how did it affect you?
I have had chronic depression since childhood and enough mental issues and social deficits that I'm on disability for it, but none of it was caused by my parents' parenting - a little was DNA, most of it was being bullied constantly (and my reaction to the bullying, which was withdrawing from reality) and later being sexually harassed by other kids in school.

So, my parents causing my problems? Hardly. Home was my safe place, the only place I came out of my shell at all.
