Dream last night

This is a bit late, only just remembered. Last night I had a dream that was interesting. I was playing the role of some character who was being hunted by some evil force. Someone gave him a black ball with markings on it, called a protection ball, to protect him. A gateway opened up at the end of the hall in his house, apparently he had to do something in another universe that the gateway led to. So he goes in, and apparently a lot is similar in the other universe; there's a house in the same place, with the same floor plan and everything. But it's older, decorated differently, and damn creepy.

He goes into the other universe's version of his bedroom, and meets some people. They own the house and are letting him stay there for the night; they've been told ahead of time he was coming, and are letting him stay despite knowing that something evil is hunting him.

It turns out that the other universe is a dark mirror universe, only this one makes the Star Trek dark mirror universe look like Heaven in comparison. Apparently the entire universe has been overrun by evil. And I don't mean that good people were taken over by evil... I mean most people there are evil, and worship evil. Evil is as common there as good is here, maybe even more so. Human sacrifices are everyday, the police exist only to root out the good people and kill them, black magic is commonplace, and if you can commit a crime against another private citizen without getting shot by said citizen, then more power to you. Murders are frequent. It's almost like the worst kind of post-apocalyptic anarchy one can imagine, multiplied by 1000, but with an apparently functional government (where they don't even pretend to not be corrupt, in fact corruption is mandatory), no ruins, and they had a police force that - as I said - does nothing but serve the interests of the state (even more so than normal police). Not only do their police have no obligation to protect people, they're worse than thugs: everybody can expect to be hassled by them at the least, and often the cops there commit worse crimes than the criminals. And that's just the way things are over there.

Apparently, the role I was playing was of a person who was working with the few good people in that universe, as Good had been driven underground. Anyone showing compassion or kindness to other human beings was arrested and sacrificed to the evil gods of that world. As part of their disguise, the good people worshiped a black angel with bat wings. To anyone not in the know, they called it by whatever name one of the evil gods was. In private, they had another name for her. I don't recall the name, but "Ah-hua-laxia" has the right flavor. A statue of Her was in the bedroom. He set the protection ball down by a candle and got into bed. He could sense the evil being that was hunting him, it was nearby somewhere. Then I woke up to go to the bathroom and went back to bed, so I don't know what happened next.

More chronicles of my stupid stomach

There are two signals I HATE getting from my stomach:

2. The "OH GODDAMN FUCKING SHIT, I'M SOOO UPSET! *stinky belches*"

Haven't been getting the first one much anymore, thank the gods, but the second one has become more frequent of late.

What's worse than either of those? Both. Like this morning:

Stomach: "OH GODDAMN FUCKING SHIT, I'M SOOO UPSET! *stinky belches*"

Me: "Okay, no food for you."

Stomach: "Yeah yeah, okay. FUCK."

Stomach: "OH GODDAMN FUCKING SHIT, I'M SOOO UPSET! *stinky belches*"

Me: "Nothing has changed."

Me: "You and I both know if I feed you, your upset will only worsen."

Me: *sigh* "Yes, Your Highness."

Touchy feely meme

Ganked from nmdrkangl

Because we all could use a little feeling up... er.. wait.. what?

One little compliment can make you feel amazing.

So give me a compliment, anything in the entire world, even that my shoelaces are pretty. Put this in your journal. And once you get some comments, put that entry in a memory or tag and when you are feeling down, just go to that entry and this will remind you of how great you are.

Don't forget to post this in your own LJ so I can compliment you, too!
