I woke up this morning with a headache. Couldn't find any pain relievers in the apartment, so I went back to bed. Mistook my stomach's complaints, before I did, for being hungry. Turned out the headache was causing nausea, so it took some doing to get back to sleep. When I woke up again later at 8 PM, my head was just good enough to make a trip to FredMeyer's for some pain reliever. Of course, they only had the name-brand Advil liquigels, so I got those (liquigels are the only pain relievers that work for me anymore). I'm feeling better now, but still not 100%. But it occurred to me today, "Pain relievers. Homeless people, how do they afford pain relievers and other medicines? They probably don't. Though pain relievers only cost between $5 and $12. That's a couple of meals, and the more expensive ones last longer. I think if I were homeless I would sacrifice a couple meals for pain relievers. Still, there should be some charity to get pain relievers and other vital medicines to the homeless."

There's also cayenne pepper in this rice and beans stuff, which should help the headaches. I used to take cayenne pepper & garlic pills for headaches if nothing else was available, and they work. Gave me strange sensations in my tummy, but got rid of the pain.
