Livejournal Purity Test

I'm kind of annoyed by the "attention whoring" score, it was high just because I'm attached to my LJ friends and sad when one of them leaves. Yes, when one unfriends me I want to know why, dammit! It makes me sad.

It's like time travel!

I was supposed to go to bed early last night and wake up early today so I could do my weekly reporting thingy for unemployment. However, I was on the computer, and that is tremendously addictive. It finally got to the point where I decided to wait for 5:50 AM, because then it would be 7:30 in Iowa and I could do my reporting in online. So I did. Yes, that same 2 hour time zone difference which has been such an annoyance in the past worked to my advantage this time.

I imagine this is what time travel is like. Or time communication. How do you send a message 2 hours into the past? Just call someone 2 time zones to the west of you! :-) For the future, call someone several time zones east of you. If you do it right, you can send a message into yesterday or tomorrow! (It may even be possible to send a message 2 days forward or back, considering "midnight" and "the international date line.")

I heard that the international date line is shown on international NBC. *Giggles*

My first novel

My first novel, "I'll Tell You No Lies,"1 is apparently available to me for $5 apiece if I order at least 5 copies. If I can get at least 5 people seriously interested in buying a copy,2 I will order some. The price for you will depend on whether or not I have to ship it to you in the mail. So that means that anyone who can come to Portland and get their copy will get a discount. I need to make a profit, so I'm thinking I'll charge $15 for people who require it shipped to them, and $10 if you can pick it up yourself.

The offer that allows me to get them this cheap expires on the 17th of this October.

So, anyone want one?

1 = Which was published years ago by Publish America, which I have since found out is a crappy stupid publisher.

2 = Which means you'd better be darned sure you want one, because once I order them you are not allowed to change your mind.
