Global warming

One "solution" to global warming has been to pull carbon out of the air and store it. However, most of the methods I've heard of are at dangerous risk of re-releasing that carbon back into the system. Someone ought to work on a way of changing that carbon in the air into solid blocks and then pressing the solid carbon into diamonds. It's nearly impossible - or at least very difficult - to get carbon back out of a diamond, so it's perfect! Scrubs the air and there's very little risk of letting it loose into the system. And you could fund it by marketing the diamonds either as industrial diamonds or market them to the environmentally conscious: "Save the earth by wearing a diamond made from carbon sucked out of the air!" I'd buy one.
