Mandela Effect?

I know I have partial face blindness, I know it doesn't take much to render someone unfamiliar to me, but holy fuck I'm so frustrated right now. Why? Because I am 100% certain that they've re-cast Lillian Luthor in the Supergirl TV show on the CW, but all the information I can find says it's always been Brenda Strong. But I've looked at photos of her online and that is NOT the same woman!

And no, it isn't just the partial face blindness. I can in fact recognize faces I'm familiar with, and I can compare faces and tell when they're the same with information that they are the same, and with time and effort. But this isn't that at all. I have the information, I put in the time and effort, and I'm satisfied that there is no possible way the woman currently playing Lillian Luthor is the woman who was playing her before.

The person who was playing her before was the same woman who played Martha Kent in Smallville. Annette O'Tool is her name. This new woman, Brenda Strong, looks nothing like her! They don't even have the same hair color! Annette O'Tool (a redhead) has a very distinctive face from that of Brenda Strong (a blond), and I was extremely familiar with it after watching Smallville for years; there's no way I could possibly have confused Brenda Strong for her. I even have a clear memory of recognizing her as Lillian Luthor in Supergirl when she first appeared. VERY clear memory! I was excited and pleased, she's a great actress.

But this Brenda Strong woman... I haven't seen her before in my life! I've never heard of her before! There is NO WAY IN HELL that she played Lillian Luthor before this episode!

Fucking hell! I looked up Annette O'Tool on IMDB and Supergirl isn't listed there in her credits! WTF!!!

After reviewing the facts, I have determined that this is the Mandela Effect in action again. The universe has been changed again. How or why this keeps happening, I don't know. But it is. Seriously!

I think the strongest evidence in favor of this is seriously the most terrifying: ask any Christian, anyone familiar enough with the bible, about "and the lion shall lie down with the lamb." Then go look in a Bible to where that quote is supposed to be (Isaiah 11:6). What you'll find instead is "And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the kid, and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little boy will lead them."

Every Christian I have given these directions to has become very upset, strongly denying it. Every single one. I've seen people who have read the bible so many times they've memorized it do the same thing and get very, very upset that the quote has changed. I ask you, what's more plausible: that millions of very devout people dedicated to reading their bible got the quote wrong, or that the universe has been changed? THIS IS REAL. THIS IS TERRIFYING. THIS IS "GLITCH IN THE MATRIX" LEVEL TERRIFYING. And Brenda Strong replacing Annette O'Tool as Lillian Luthor is just the latest in a HUGE string of these incidents.
