Would it kill men to not casually be sexually predatory all...

I'm just going to comment on the original statement and ignore all the ranting and derailing that followed.

I think "predatory" is an overstatement. But between "wiring" (some may be hormonal, some may be other factors) and "cultural/social "conditioning" males, especially in their teens have a positive *need* for sex, and really and truly aren't aware that females *don't*.

Worse, they don't realize that sex is a scary and dangerous thing for a female in our culture.

That doesn't mean that a lot *aren't predatory. But it *does* mean that they are operating from the premise that women "want it" as badly as they do. Which leads to things like claims by females that they "aren't interested" being seen as "playing hard to get". :-(

Even non-asshole guys are apt to think that the main concern is "can't admit they like it or they'll get in trouble".

It'd take *major* changes in social attitudes *and* education to eliminate this sort of thing. Part of which will be educating *both* genders about the *fact* that the other gender doesn't think the same way they do.

I mean the "biological" reasons...

Then we get to teach both sides about the "social" reasons for the differences.

Getting across to guys things like fear of rape is going to be *really* hard. You can explain it all you want, but actually *feeling* it is necessary. And that's hard to do. :-(

Yup, and that's a large part of what is called rape culture.

Yes it would.

Then we get to teach both sides about the "social" reasons for the differences.

IE, teaching about rape culture.

Make watching "Deliverance" mandatory. Then explain that for women, men exist in a quantum superposition between good and "good ol' boy." Watch the terror dawn on them.
