Keep in mind that Walt Disney *himself* is only responsible for three of those princesses. Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. All the other movies were created by other people long after Walt was dead.

So apparently there’s a difference between the TH in thing, and the TH in this. I can hear it when someone uses the TH in thing to replace the TH in this, but I can’t feel the difference when I do it, and that is blowing my mind.

Here's something that may help.

Hold your hand a couple inches in front of your mouth and say "this". You'll either feel no air flow against your hand or just a tiny puff.

Now, without moving your hand, say "thing". You'll feel quite a bit of airflow.

That's the difference between a "voiced" dental fricative (the "th" in "thing") and an unvoiced dental fricative (the "th" in "this").

There are a number of other constants that have voiced and unvoiced versions.
