Joke I thought up

So there was this architect, and he was world-renowned as an architect, people paid big money to hire him. The only thing was, he always put antechambers at the end of these looooooong hallways. Nobody ever complained about it, or even mentioned it, because he was so good. Until one day a guy who'd hired him was looking at the man's latest work, and said, "I love it, but why this long hallway between the door and the antechamber? That's the longest walk from the entrance to the antechamber I've ever seen."
The architect looked at it and said, "Hunh. Never noticed that before."
"Well," said the employer, "now you know. Just pay more attention in the future. Only you can prevent farest foyers."
