Snowlandia

It got really fucking cold the other day. And it was so windy, the power was flickering for awhile. I had to go out in that cold, and I wasn't quite dressed warm enough. When I finally got back, I went to my room to do a ritual to call back the sun.

It snowed the next day. It is still snowing. I can only assume the sun is displeased with me.

The Sun is not "displeased" with you - why should it have any opinion about one individual life-form on the surface of one of its smaller planets? And variations in the atmosphere of that planet may cast shadows on the surface, but this has no effect at all on the Sun itself. There's no point in "calling it back", because it hasn't gone anywhere; it's still right where it belongs, 93 million miles away, at the center of the Solar System. Those dark grey clouds that deposit cold rain and snow on the surface where you are - the top side of those same clouds is brilliant white, reflecting the Sun's light. If you go higher than the cloud tops, this becomes obvious. And if you go a hundred miles or so in any direction on the surface, chances are it's not going to be cloudy and raining there; the Sun may very well be shining.
