Current sex ed doesn't teach *practical* details like that.

Heck, guess how many folks think the anus is self-lubricating or that a lubricated condom is sufficient.

And the mere fact that they *sell* anal lubes that contain an anaesthetic...

Mon, 18:37: Overheard: Don’t Consent to a Search! - If the cops say: "Do you mind if I look in your purse, bag, home, or... http://t.co/dDVs7Nkc

Anyone who asks "Are you hiding something?" Or "I don't have anything to hide." doesn't understand privacy.

Heck, ask them why they wear clothes.

On the other hand, use some sense. There *are* times when the cops *have* to make a search (for example, if they got calls from your neighbors about screaming coming from your house or apartment).

Be polite. Try not to be confrontational. But, if necessary, note that the search is being done under protest. and keep[ in mind the supposed *reason* for the search.

For example, in the case of screams reported by neighbors, they have *zero* plausible reason to open or look into anything that isn't big enough to hold a person.

Mon, 19:11: Why do so many people like ribs? They're too damn much work to go to for too little reward, being as they're mostly bone and fat.

Depends on the ribs. And the meat (if properly cooked) has a lot of flavor and just falls off the bone.

Actually, such a law has *severe* problems. The law in most places says that priests are not supposed to (and cannot be forced to) reveal things told to them during confession.

Same sort of thing goes for shrinks, lawyers and doctors.

And things are set up that way because in all those cases you *need* to be able to tell the truth to them. Requiring (or even *allowing*) them to reveal it to others without your permission means that you'll lie to them, which negates the whole *point* of talking to them.

Revealing that somebody is about to attack someone is one thing. And the laws have exceptions for that.

But revealing what's already been done can interfere with straightening out the person. Yes, even in confession.

Also, from the point of a member of *any* religion that has the sacrament of confession (except for the few that make it a *public* thing) this is dooming folks to hell because if they don't confess they can't ask God for forgiveness. And this would pretty much eliminate that possibility.

Yeah, I understand why they want the law. But it's misguided at best. *Especially* if they only go after confession, and not after doctors, shrinks, etc.
