Had a crappy weekend

Woke up at 1 PM on Saturday, which is early for me. It was TOO early that day. Two hours later, I laid down to take a nap. Woke up 3 or 4 hours later, and immediately knew I'd fucked over my sleep schedule. How much, I didn't know then.

Went to bed at 1 AM, also a mistake, since I had to get up at 8:30 to go to the UU church. But it didn't matter. I lay there for hours and hours, unable to get to sleep. Now and then, I'd get really close, but then get pulled back awake. Then it started happening over and over and over again. Finally, I gave up on sleep and watched some shows on my computer, hoping to stay up long enough to go to it and Lilla's recital. Two hours later, I got tired again, and tried again, but gave up on church, while not yet giving up on the recital. But I still couldn't sleep by the time it was too late to be on time for the recital, so I had to give up on that, too.

I finally did get some sleep, but man... I do believe that's the second worst night I've ever had, with the exception of nights when I was sick. It was after noon when I finally got to sleep finally, and I was like hell before that.

Iyiyi. I didn't sleep last night either, but I maid it to my lawyer's appointment at least. Reminder to self: If this body drinks coffee after 6 pm, sleeping is fail. At least I had good hand tremors for the appointment so he could see how the bipolar and meds affect me. I hope your sleep pattern gets better. I keep waking up at 9:30 am no matter what time I go to sleep.

Oh, it was luckily an abberation for me that is now resolved.
