Writing went well today

Went to Ira's Deli today and spent about six hours writing in the Lyria novel. I would occasionally wander off to do online stuff, but not often, and not for long. I was able to get really into writing today because it was a character going off on an adventure, and involved the simple process of following him and describing the important stuff, with some going back and adding things or rearranging things. I was especially thrilled with the description of the city of Port Insanity. Not the worst place to be, but wouldn't be a fun place to live.

Got inspired for the name of Port Insanity from reading Fall of Hyperion by Dan Simmons, from the city of Port Romance on the planet Hyperion.
